Obituary of Grace M. Cella

Grace M. Cella, of Upper Chichester, PA, formerly of Glenolden, PA, died Monday, April 27, 2020. Grace was born in Philadelphia, PA, and attended Edward W. Bok Technical High School. Mrs. Cella was employed at Wanamaker’s (Philadelphia, PA), Morrows Nut House (Philadelphia, PA and New Jersey), Boscov’s (Wilmington, DE), and Stanservice Inc. (Darby). Grace was a devoted parishioner of the Church of St. John Fisher, where she was a member of the prayer group, St. John Fisher Altar Society, Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and Legion of Mary. Daughter of the late Anthony and Margaret DeSanto; wife of the late Daniel L. Cella, mother of the late Richard M. Cella; sister of the late Frances Franciosa, Joseph DeSanto and Theresa Witherup. Survivors: Sons: Daniel J. (Barbara) Cella, Robert A. (Susan) Cella and John A. (Lisa) Cella Grandchildren: Alexandra, Jacki, Robert, Jr., Alyssa and Danielle A Private Graveside Service will be held Thursday, April 30th at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
