Condolences
My deepest condolences to the Nozilo family. A colleague of Chris at Penn Medicine for the last 2 years, I miss our daily good morning greetings. It seems like Chris is on a vacation to the outer banks and will be returning back to work soon. His smile shines and laughter echoes around, he will be missed. Praying for his soul to journey on peacefully. Praying for strength n courage for the family and loved ones to pass through this challenging time.

I offer my sincerest and deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Chris Nozilo. In such a tragic time, I pray that you all find comfort and peace in your love for and memories of him.
Chris and I met at Penn Medicine. We had an unexpected and near instant connection. My daughter enjoyed the daily stories I had of him and lovingly called him ‘Whoops’, whilst he called her Shay-Shay. He was the only person to call her this name.
Even after I left Penn, our friendship continued and flourished with chatting multiple times a week, and often multiple times a day. We shared everything from food, to politics and most of all, I’m grateful to say, love. My heart aches knowing that will be no more. I am going to miss him tremendously.
Although our friendship was just a few years, it feels like a lifetime. He was a good friend, and I will remember fondly the memories we shared.
Chris, may your journey forward be enriched by the souls who have passed before you, just as you have done here, for those you leave behind.
With all my love,
Diane
