Obituary of Margaret Spotts

Margaret J. (nee Webb) Spotts, 87, of Muncy Valley, PA and formerly of Aston, PA died Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Muncy Valley Skilled Nursing. Mrs. Spotts was born and raised in Chester, PA. Margaret and her late husband had been residents of Aston, PA before moving to Muncy Valley, PA to live with their son and his wife in 2007. Margaret was a graduate of Chester High School in 1942. She worked as a secretary at the General Steel Corporation, Pure Oil Corporation and the tax office in Chester, PA until 1952 when she chose to be a housewife. Margaret and her late husband regularly attended Aston Presbyterian Church. She was a woman devoted to her family and most of all enjoyed spending time with them. Mrs. Spotts was the wife of 67 years to the late Edward M. Spotts who died in January 2011. SURVIVORS Son and Daughter-in-Law with whom she lived Marty and Ann Spotts Grandchildren: Marci and Brian Great-Grandson James In addition she is survived by Grandchildren: Liz, Hank, Lu & Bill Great-Grandchildren: Jesse, Megan, Max, Annie & Tomos Great-Great-Grandchildren: Cammy, Kaleigh, Emma & Addison Eight Nieces and Nephews. Contributions in memory of Margaret Spotts may be given to a Charity of the Donor's choice.
