Obituary of Elmer H. Booz, Jr.

Elmer H. Booz, Jr., age 94, of Garnet Valley, PA, formerly of Oxford, PA, died on Thursday, August 8, 2019.  Elmer was born in Collingdale, PA, and was the son of the late Elmer H. and Ellen (Downing) Booz, Sr. 

Mr. Booz graduated from Collingdale High School.  He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.  Elmer went on to be the  Owner and Operator of College Auto Parts for 40 years, before retiring in 1987.  He was a long-time member of the Prospect Lodge #578 F&AM.  Elmer was devoted to his faith as a member of Middletown Presbyterian Church, Middletown Twp., Media, PA, as well as a member of Green Hat Club.  His hobbies included gardening, whittling and reading.

He was predeceased by his loving wife, Mary E. (Collins) Booz and beloved sister, Ellen D. (Booz) Blankenship.

Brother:  Linford D. Booz
Grandchildren:  Matthew, Mallory, Jennifer, Victoria and Amanda

Many Nieces and Nephews

Funeral Services will be private with military honors at Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.
