Obituary of Sara G. Sander

Sara G. “Sally” Ickes Sander, age 99, of Middletown Township, died on Friday, April 5, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Sander was born in Johnstown, PA and later moved to Middletown Township, PA. She was a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and taught Second Grade in Johnstown, PA.

Mrs. Sander attended Reformation Lutheran Church of Media, PA.

Wife of the late Rev. Robert G. Sander, who died in 1997, she is survived by her sons: Timothy (Arlene) and Joel Sander. Also survived by her grandchildren: Andrew (Alison) and Daniel (Charlotte) Hopp and Dr. Kristin (Brad) Lewis, MD and great-grandchildren: Ryan, Sean, Colin, Jackson, David, Gabriel, Conner and Leslie.

Services on Friday April 12th at  2:00PM at Reformation Lutheran Church, 102 West Rose Tree Rd., Media, PA 19063.

Interment: Grand View Cemetery, Johnstown, PA.
