Obituary of Mary Agnes McGroarty

Mary Agnes (Halpin) McGroarty, “Maura” age 76, of the Glen Riddle section of Middletown Twp., PA, formerly of Drexel Hill, PA and Upper Darby, PA, died Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Riddle Memorial Hospital.  Maura was born in Ireland to the late John and Martha (Kennedy) Halpin. She was employed with Chrysler Corporation for more than 30 years, until her retirement.  Maura was a parishioner of The Church of Nativity BVM, Media, PA and a former parishioner of The Church of St. Frances De Sales, Lenni, PA.  Maura enjoyed gardening and crocheting.  Most of all, she cherished spending time with her granddaughters.

Daughter-in-law: Renee McGroarty

Son: Dermott A. McGroarty

Siblings: John, Vincent, Patrick, Ned, Elizabeth, Millie, Kathleen and Terry

Also survived by several nieces and nephews

Visitation: Wednesday, January 23^rd from 10:00-10:45AM at the Church of Nativity BVM, 30 E. Franklin Street, Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Mass: Wednesday, January 23^rd at 11:00AM at the Church of Nativity BVM.

Interment: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
