Obituary of Ernest A. Ford

Ernest A. Ford, age 94, of Brookhaven, PA, formerly of Chester, PA, died Thursday, January 10, 2019 at home. Ernest was a graduate of Chester High School and Penn Military College with a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering.   He was employed with the US Government. Ernest was a Mortarman in the U.S. Army, serving in WWII on Omaha Beach.

Mr. Ford was a life member of Faith Community Church, Brookhaven, PA. He was an avid bowler at Conchester Lanes.  Ernest was a Phillies and Eagles Fan.  Most of all, Ernest was devoted to his church and family.

Son of the late George A. and Winnie (Taylor) Ford; Husband of the late Bernice (Tonge) Ford, who died in 1995; brother of the late Lloyd, Billy, Art and Susie

Visitation: Tuesday, January 15^th from 10:00-10:45AM at the Minshall Shropshrie-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown Twp. (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, January 15^th at 11:00AM at the funeral home.

Interment: Lawn Croft Cemetery.
