Obituary of George D. Lee, Sr.

 George D. Lee, Sr., age 97, of Brookhaven, PA, died Sunday, May 27, 2018.  George was born in Hornbeak and raised in Union City, TN. Mr. Lee was employed with Textile Printing for more than 20 year, and then with the US Post Office. After retirement, George volunteered at Crozer Chester Medical Center and Sacred Heart Hospital.

George was a US Navy Veteran serving in WWII from 1942-1945. He was a 70 year member of the American Legion, Eddystone, PA and a member of the Brookhaven Lions Club.  George enjoyed gardening, fishing, loved to dance and listen to country music.

Husband of the late Nina Marie Fox Lee, predeceased by 4 sisters, 3 brothers and his loving parents.

Survivors:

Son: G. David (Jean) Lee, Jr.

Daughters: Karen Marie (Ted) Trullinger, Larena Gail (Sue) Lee and Lisa Darlene Lee

Grandchildren: Laura (Dennis), Ted, Jr. (Jackie), Nicholas (Kelly), Tara, Rebecca and Jessica.

Funeral Service:  Monday, June 4th at 11:00AM at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Visitation: Monday, June 4th after 10:00AM at the funeral home.

Interment: Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
