Obituary of Beatrice W. Smith

Beatrice W. Smith, age 97, of Glenolden, PA, died Saturday, February 10, 2018. Bea worked at Strawbridge & Clothier in Springfield, PA for 15 years. Beatrice was an active member at Upland Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, attended bible study and was in the woman's union. She was an avid reader, enjoyed listening to music and was a devoted Eagles fan. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family. Daughter of the late William H. and May (Bates) Woolley; wife of the late Lawrence I. Smith Jr., preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Survivors: Daughter: Patricia M. (Tony) Irace Grandchildren: William (Karin) Lord, Douglas (Patty) Lord and Tricia (Rocco) Gervase Sister: Phyllis Price Also survived by 8 Great-Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. Visitation: Tuesday, February 20th after 10:00AM at Upland Baptist Church, 325 Main Street, Upland, PA. 19015. Funeral Service: Tuesday, February 20th at 11:00AM at Upland Baptist Church, 325 Main Street, Upland, PA 19015 Interment: Edgewood Memorial Park.
