Obituary of Jean M. Conway

Jean M. Conway (Quinn) of Aston, PA, died peacefully on December 20, 2017 (one week shy of her 93rd birthday), with her family by her side.  She lived many years in Sharon Hill, PA, before moving to Aston, PA. Jean was born in Scranton, PA to the late John and Mary Quinn of Dunmore, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years James E., two brothers and a sister, John Quinn, William Quinn and Dolores Maher. Jean is survived by her children James J. (Donna) of Aston, PA, Michael (Marianne) of Brookhaven, PA and Mary E. Gander (Edward) of Morton, PA. She is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandson.  Jean was a graduate of Dunmore High School and Scranton Lackawana Business College.  She worked in the treasurer's office at the University of Scranton during which time she met her husband to be. Jean was a loving mother, wife and grandmother who had great love for her family and will be sadly missed by her family.

Funeral Mass: Thursday, December 28th at 10:00AM at The Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Road, Aston, PA  19014.

Visitation: Thursday from 9:00-9:45AM at the church.

Interment: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
