Obituary of Marvin A. Mantz

Marvin A. Mantz, (Gramps) age 93, of Glen Mills, PA, formerly of Chester, PA, went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.

Marvin graduated from Lansford High School, Lansford, PA. Mr. Mantz was a gas tester for Sunoco for more than 40 years, retiring in 1984. He was a US Army Veteran serving in Europe during WWII.

Mr. Mantz was devoted to his Savior. He was a charter member of Chadds Ford Baptist Church and was a deacon and a commander of AWANA with Bible Covenant Baptist Church. Most of all, Gramps cherished spending time with his family.

Husband of 69 years to the late Marie Anna Shukay Mantz

Daughters: Janice (Michael) Arcus of Upper Chichester, PA, Cheryl (Howard) Mahoney of Glen Mills, PA, Jackie (Neale) Kirchner of York, PA and Jill (Larry) Snyder of Elizabethtown, PA.

18 Grandchildren; 21 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren

Visitation: Wednesday, December 27th from 10:00-11:15AM at Chadds Ford Baptist Church, 415 Baltimore Pike, Chadds Ford, PA 19317.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, December 27th at 11:30AM at the church.

Interment: Edgewood Memorial Park, 325 Baltimore Pike, Glen Mills, PA 19342.
