Obituary of Joseph J. Mooney

Joseph J. "Moon" Mooney, age 61, of Norwood, PA, formerly of Aston, PA, died Saturday, June 10, 2017 at home. Joseph was born December 5, 1955, and graduated from Sun Valley High School, Class of 1974. Mr. Mooney was employed at Boeing Helicopters in the Information Technology Department.

Moon played on numerous Delaware County Softball Teams and was an original member of Club 40. He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies Fan.

Son of the late Joseph V. and Helen T. (Bratton) Mooney.

Funeral Service: Friday, June 23rd at 11:00AM at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Visitation: Friday, June 23rd after 10:00AM at the funeral home.

Interment: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery
