Obituary of Richard M. Hays

Richard M. Hays, "Richie" age 52, of Essington, PA, formerly of Bethel Twp., PA, died Tuesday, June 6, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Richie was a graduate of Garnet Valley High School. Rich was employed with Hays Tug Boats and Trico in Marcus Hook, PA. He was also employed with Wilson's Auction House. Richie enjoyed fishing, boating and hunting. He was a collector of antiques. Most of all, Richie was devoted to his family.

Son of the late Richard O. and Laura (Johnson) Hays.

Wife: Michele McAteer Hays

Daughter: Ashlee Plummer

Step-Daughter: Alyssa Anderson

Grandchildren: Makenzie, Kamryn and Austin

Visitation: Tuesday, June 13th from 6:00-8:00PM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd. Middletown (Rte. # 352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Interment: Private
