Obituary of Cheryl A. Beckham

Cheryl Anne Beckham, was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and caregiver. Cheryl, a long-time resident of Media, Pennsylvania died on May 7, 2017 in Bryn Mawr, PA. She was born in Grove City, Pennsylvania, raised in St. Albans, West Virginia, graduated from Pattonville High School in Bridgeton, MO and attended Lindenwood College in St. Louis, MO. After college she worked for Schultz Fertilizer and married John "Sandy" Beckham. While raising her three children, she maintained the books and records for her husband's excavating company, J.A. Beckham & Sons during their 20 year marriage. In the early 1990's Cheryl moved to Media, PA to care for her ailing Aunt. She worked for Chester Upland School District and Christina's Embroidery Design in Media, PA. After her aunt's passing she retired from the school district and traveled between her home in Media to her mother's home in Hurricane, WV, where she and her sister cared for their mother.

Cheryl is survived by her sister, Carol Lynn Rigsby, her three children, Richard Beckham, Christina Beckham Kulp and John Beckham, and her grandchildren, Richard Beckham, Jr., Gabrielle Beckham and Haley Kulp whom she adored.

Funeral Service: Friday, May 12th at 1:30PM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Visitation: Friday, May 12th after 12:30PM at the funeral home.

Interment: Chester Rural Cemetery.
