So sad to see this!! Praying for peace & comfort at this most difficult time for Mikes family & loved ones!! May he Rest In Peace!!
Turino's Caterers seems a lifetime ago! The weddings, I was attended there! A few, I was in. My best friends. My younger sisters. A cousin's. The beef & beers! Socializing in the lower bar! So many laughs. Back in the days when Southwest Philly was a great place to live. Best of all was knowing George Pelligrino who adored that place and working there along with his dad. Mike Pelligrino was a very sociable vibrant guy of many talents. The two of them with their never ending energy made Turino's a memorable part of my life. Through the years, I have been very blessed to be in touch with George, a very dear long time friend. Having opportunities to see Mr Pelligrino during family events. He was always smiling, fun loving, a piano playing gentleman. For a self taught piano player, he was terrific at doing it! A very kind, likable man who will be very missed.
I am so sorry George, Jackie & your family. I am so sorry for the entire family. I know he was a strong presence in your lives who was very loved. Who will be very missed.
May God bless each of you with many happy memories to treasure in your hearts forever.
Our sincerest sympathy to the entire Pelligrino families. Mr. P. was an incredible man. He was always ready to entertain with his songs. stories, jokes and quips. He was more than the dad of friends but rather a part of everyone's lives in that he took over the floor to always lighten the mood by sharing his infectious smile with everyone...no matter what the situation.
We'll all miss Mr. Pell dearly. He'll certainly entertain the Angels for eternity.

Jennifer & Family:
After reading your grandfathers obituary I keep thinking what an amazing man with an incredible life! Keeping you and your entire family in my thoughts
Michael was a longtime friend, he was a cheerful person who spoke of his family with love. I first met him when he was a shy handsome young sailor in 1945. He was a patient at Oak Knoll Naval Hospital in Oakland, California. My family befriended him and we shared some happy times with him. We were reunited many years later in 1990'a, when he visited me and my brother in Reno, Nevada. Since then we shared many phone calls and relived some fond memories. I will miss those phone calls with Michael. God Rest His Soul.
