Obituary of David Anthony Oronzio

Due to the weather, the Visitation and Funeral Services has been changed to: Visitation: Wednesday, March 15th from 7:00-9:00PM and Thursday, March 16th from 9:30-10:30AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home. Funeral Service: Thursday, at 11:00AM at the Church of Our Lady of Charity, 231 Upland Rd. Brookhaven, PA 19015. Interment: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery David Anthony Oronzio, 35 David was called home by Our Lord on March 9th after battling heart disease. Born to George Oronzio and Philomena Borrelli Oronzio, "Dave" grew up in Folsom and Brookhaven. His love of all things with a motor led him to attend Automotive Training Center. Dave most recently worked for Hoist & Crane of Honeybrook. Dave's love of the outdoors led to many off road adventures, and he could often be found fishing in Cape May. Dave made THE BEST crabcakes. He joined family and friends as a member of Middletown Fire Company Station 50, where he trained as a vehicle rescue technician. Known for his easy laugh and his sense of humor, he loved and was loved by everyone. Dave is survived by his mother Philmarie DiGuiesppe and her husband Skip, father George Oronzio and his wife Angie, brother George and sister in law Marianne who was his best friend. Nephew Jerry and niece Lilly, who loved spending time with Uncle Dave. Furry companion Kylie, and many family and friends who will miss his larger than life personality. Rather than flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to the Middletown Fire Company at 425 S. New Middletown Rd., Media, PA 19063 or the Providence Animal Center at 555 Sandy Bank Rd., Media, PA 19063.
