Obituary of Eleanor McKnight
NAME OF DECEASED
Eleanor (nee Cardwell) McKnight, 90, of Middletown Twp and formerly of
Woodlyn, PA. Died Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Fair Acres Geriatric
Center. Born in Chester, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Mary
Cardwell. She had been a long time resident of Woodlyn, before moving to
Middletown Twp.
EDUCATION: Attended Eddystone High School
PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT: Mrs. McKnight was employed by Strath Haven High School as a Cafeteria Aide for many years.
ORGANIZATIONS: Mrs. McKnight was devoted to her family and she especially enjoyed her three great-grandsons.
SURVIVORS:
She is survived by one daughter: Nancy Winfree of Upland, PA; one son: John (Margaret) McKnight of Aston, PA; Three Sisters: Nell Bruton of Ridley Park, PA, Dorothea Decesare of Norwood, PA, and Doris Bell of Lewes, DE; also survived by two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a beloved niece: Connie Baxter and many other nieces and nephews.

She was the widow of the late John S. McKnight who died in 1984; Sister of the late Lillian Riddagh, Ann Armstrong, Mary Meiser, John, Edward and Francis Cardwell
SERVICE INFORMATION: The funeral will be 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 21 at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte#352) & Knowlton Roads, Middletown Twp, Media, PA VISITATION: Friends may call Tuesday, September 21 from 1:00 pm at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home.
