Condolences
John, my cousin, was a fighter and very good man. he tried to do what was right concerning his fellow sailors. I am sure he will be terribly missed by his family.
I am so very sad to hear this. John was a very dear friend to me since back in 1994, when I discovered a wonderful online community called Prodigy Canada, and we connected on a bulletin board.
Goodbye my friend, you were a warrior and a person who truly cared about others and deserved a world of respect.
You will be deeply missed.
You and your family are in our minds and in our hearts. We pray that you find comfort and peace through this difficult time. May God be with you, always.

May you have Fair Winds and Following Seas Shipmate.

My warmest regards to John's family on their loss. All of the Pounchatoula mates are my family and to loose one is heart felt. God Bless you and your family.
John is with Jesus now and forever,
Shipmate Walt Satalino
I am glad I got to know John again after so many years. Bless him for his efforts on behalf of the Blue Water Sailors.Ponchatoula plankowners are diminished.
Deepest sympathy from a Ponchatoula shipmate.
It is with great regret I never personally met my cousin John. None the less, in our correspondence which he initiated over several years it became apparent to me the stature of the man. I know he was much loved by family, friends and associates alike. He fought the good fight to the end in support of the causes he truly believed inb. He will be missed.
