Esther and Bill were dear friends of my parents, Betty and Ted Werntz. I always enjoyed reading Esther's Christmas poems and she continued to send them to me after my parents went to heaven in 2004 & 2005. I know this condolence is late, but I was going through a box and found her 2012 card and poem. I just wanted you to know the impact her life made on others. She was so talented and such a wonderful friend to my parents. I will always have fond memories of her and miss her poems.

I am sad that I learned of Esther's death only today (January 25). She worked with me as my Parish Secretary during the 1970s. She was a person of loyalty, skill, energ,y and good humor for whom I have abiding affection. I thank God for her life and her friendship. May she rest in peace..
