Obituary of Kathleen W. Minka

Kathleen (Kitty) Reynolds Minka, age 73 Devoted to Family and Riddle Hospital Kathleen (Kitty) Reynolds Minka, 73, of Glen Mills, PA, a former Aston, PA and Nether Providence, PA, resident, died on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 surrounded by her family. Kitty graduated from Pennsylvania State University and worked at Riddle Hospital for more than 40 years. She enjoyed growing beautiful flowers and produce that she shared with friends and family. She was dedicated to her family as a loving wife, mom, grandmother and aunt. She found strength in her faith, had a thirst for knowledge and education and strived to enjoy life. She also enjoyed swimming at the YMCA. Most important to her was her family and friends. Daughter of the late Leonard and Irene Reynolds; sister of the late Robert J. Reynolds and Ivor J. Reynolds. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, John V Minka , her daughter Stephanie McNeil and son John Leonard Minka, brothers Leonard J. Reynolds of Honeybrook, PA and John D. Reynolds of Downingtown, PA, and Grandchildren David McNeil, Brianna Minka, Jimmy McNeil and Sarah McNeil. Funeral Mass: Monday, October 31st at 10:30AM at the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, 430 Valleybrook Rd., Glen Mills, PA 19342. Visitation: Monday, October 31st from 9:30-10:15AM at the church. Interment will be in the church's adjoining cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to: Salvation Army, 151 West 15th Street, Chester, PA 19013.
