Obituary of R. Byron Clark

1931-2016 Byron Clark, age 85, of Hershey's Mill, West Chester, PA, passed away Friday, October 21, 2016. Mr. Clark was born in Parkside, PA, and was a graduate of Media High School, Class of 1949. He continued his studies at the Colorado State University where he received his Bachelors Degree. Mr. Clark was a veteran of the United States Air Force and commissioned at the end of the Korean Conflict. Mr. Clark worked for Ralston Purina Co. before retiring and then pursued a career as a residential and commercial realtor in Chester and Delaware counties. He was a devoted member of the Middletown Presbyterian Church where he previously served as a Deacon. Byron was a loyal and enthusiastic Penn State Nittany Lions fan. He and his family traveled to many games over the years. For many years, Byron and Jane enjoyed the winter months in Port St Lucie, FL. While at home, he found great enjoyment attending his grandchildren's sporting events, dance recitals and school activities. He loved to regale with family and friends the many accomplishments of his children and grandchildren as he was a proud father and grandfather. SURVIVORS: Wife: Jane M. Clark of 25 years Children: Brandon (Stacie) Clark, Ric Clark, Spencer Clark, Carrie Berner and Mary Jean Clark Step Children: John Novotni, Linda (Anthony) DeVico, Judy (Tim) Wile and Ken (Karla) Novotni Also survived by 18 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
