Obituary of Patricia Ann Coopersmith
Patricia Ann Coopersmith (nee McAnall)
Patricia (“Pat”) Coopersmith (nee McAnall) died Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Riddle Hospital. A Chester resident in her youth, she lived most of her life in Rose Valley and Glen Mills.
In her younger years, Pat loved competitive roller skating and met her future husband, William Coopersmith, at the Great Leopard Roller Skating Rink. They had five children to whom she devoted much of her life. As the years proved to be good to her, she was able to enjoy golf and tennis, here in Delaware County and at her home in Jupiter, Florida. She also traveled many places throughout the country and in the world. Of all her family members, she perhaps had a special place in her heart for her dogs, especially her two Westies, Molly and Muffet.
She was predeceased by her husband William Coopersmith, son Jack Coopersmith, brother Lewis McAnall, and sister Dorothy Quartermus Paxton.
Survivors: daughters Amy Coopersmith, Kathy Coopersmith, Debbie (Joseph) Imperia, and Wendy (Michael) Dignazio; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister Jean Fusco; brother Kenneth McAnall (Lina); nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in Patricia’s memory to Providence Animal Center, 555 Sandy Bank Rd, Media, PA 19063.
Burial was private
