Uncle Sam, you were such a loving individual, your kindheartedness was always so comforting and reassuring. You were not only my mothers brother, you were also her best friend and for that I am so thankful. I could never express my gratitude, appreciation and love for you enough. I am shedding many tears for you, a trait that always reminds me of Grandpop , You and Mom.

I can see what a beautiful person he was. I am sure you all are very proud of him and have great memories. Cherish them all -- write them down, pass them down to each generation. I lost very close loved ones and feel some of the pain you are experiencing. He has been in my prayers today and will continue to be, as well as all of you. Be at peace as he is.
