Condolences
When my Mom had me, she really thought I was going to be a boy, so she did not have a name picked out. Uncle Tony was the one who picked Diane.I always thought how handsome he was and so nice to all of us kids.
My prayers are with you all.
So sorry for your loss. I've been a customer of
Tony's since the 1970's. I took my grandson to him along with his parents for his first hair cut. I always brag to my younger co-workers that I have a real barber. I'm going to miss talking baseball and listening to the old Italian crooners at the shop.
I offer my condolences to your entire family. What a loss for all of us.
I first went to Tony for a haircut back in themid 50s when his shop was on 7th Stret in Chester. I went to him when he moved to 21st Street and then followed him to Parkside. I moved out of state and lost touch with him for a number of years.
I came back to see my father, who was terminally ill, and found that Tony was kind enough to make house calls to cut my father's hair. More like a head massage. We talked like we never mised a day.
Tony was always a true gentleman and a kind soul. I hope as you go through these difficult days you remember how good he was and how much he loved his family.
