It seems so long ago but yet only yesterday. Mary and I shared a bedroom (long before the other 7 girls arrived). We would lay in bed at night trying to sleep and Mary would sing to me.
One Christmas, we both came down the German measles. UGH! We had to stay in bed, in the dark. It was the worse Christmas ever..There was a bright side to this episode, mom made up lima beans YUK! Mary introduced me to the practice of flushing my veggies down the toilet. She was my hero!!
So many memories. We still have a lot of plans we have yet to fulfill. I will miss you my big sister! You left us too soon. I'll miss you forever.
