John A. Clapcich, age 96, of Brookhaven, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 10, 2026. John was raised in Chester, PA, and lived in Brookhaven, PA, since 1956. He was a graduate of Chester High School, Class of 1947.
John was the son of immigrant parents, the late Anthony and Mary (Simat) Clapcich from Austria, now Croatia.
John proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, serving in Korea from 1951-1952.
John worked in the accounting department at Sun Oil Company for 37 years, retiring in 1984.
Mr. Clapcich was a parishioner of the Church of Our Lady of Charity, Brookhaven, PA.
John was predeceased by his sisters; Nataline Bursich (Michael), Angeline Utmar Greenjack (Frank) (Jack), Mary Sablian (Robert), Celestine Coen (Frank), Anna Stanley (Harry) “Bud” and Eleanor Talbot (James).

Grandchildren: Amanda (Michael), Brianna (Stefan), Tom (Ashley), Mike (Paige), Rachel (Adam)

Visitation: Monday, July 20th after 10:00AM at the Church of Our Lady of Charity, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, PA 19015.
Funeral Mass: Monday, July 20th at 10:30AM at the Church.
Interment: Private.
