I am heartbroken to hear of Joe's passing. He was truly an incredible human being with a wonderful sense of humor and a huge heart that touched the lives of so many people. What a gift he was to all of us fortunate enough to know him.
I loved working with Joe. He made every workday a little brighter at East and could always make me laugh when he stopped by my office. His kindness, wit, and genuine care for others left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
I saw Joe the Friday before he passed, and I remember telling him something I had often thought over the years. I always admired his big, bright blue eyes and joked that the best thing about having eyes like his was that they would never grow old. They were full of life, warmth, and kindness—just like Joe himself.
So hats off to you, Blue Eyes. You will always remain in my heart, and your spirit will live on in the countless lives you touched. Thank you for the laughter, the friendship, and the joy you brought to so many. You will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered forever.
