Obituary of Barbara J. Anderson

Barbara J. Anderson, "Bobbi" age 81, of Middletown Twp., Media, PA died Monday, December 1, 2025.  

Bobbi was born in 1943 in Chester, Pennsylvania to the late Charles and Verna Worrilow, III. She spent many dedicated years working in payroll for Sun Oil Company where she was appreciated for her reliability and strong work ethic.

A woman of many passions, Bobbi was an avid reader and a devoted animal lover. She often contributed to the Wildlife Foundation and her greatest affection was for cats - especially her beloved Siamese. Her artistic spirit shone brightly throughout her life; she enjoyed painting, hand-stitching, and ceramics, expressing her creativity in countless ways.

Bobbi also had a joyful appreciation for collecting. Over the years, she gathered bears, bunnies, purses, jewelry, flamingos, glassware, and a wide array of china curios. She loved watching the entire Highlander series and had a lifelong fondness for classic westerns, particularly The Rifleman. Music was another great love of hers, and she truly enjoyed singing along—often word for word—to nearly every Elvis Presley song.

Above all, Bobbi will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, her kind heart, and the warmth she brought to those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
