Obituary of Abigail Ava Gillon

DUE TO LIMITED PARKING, TRANSPORTATION WILL BE PROVIDED THROUGH THE KINDESS OF THE RIDLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT, DEPARTING FROM RIDLEY HIGH SCHOOL (TENNIS COURT LOT) THROUGHOUT THE VISITATION AND MASS AT OUR LADY OF PEACE CHURCH.

Today, with broken hearts and devastation within our families and the community we regretfully announce the passing of our beloved Angel from God, Abigail Ava Gillon “Abby” on Monday June 16th as a result of her injuries sustained in a tragic accident on June 14th.
Abigail was born January 18th, 2013 to Loriann Kralle and Daniel Gillon at Riddle Hospital. From the first time she opened those sparkling blue eyes, she captured the hearts of everyone who she had the pleasure of meeting. Abby attended Amosland Elementary School and Ridley Middle School, most recently graduating the 6th grade a week ago. From the beginning she was always a bright shining star.
Abigail adored her family, she loved all of the vacations and the times spent together especially crabbing at the shore ! She was a foodie at heart ! Pork roll sandwiches, pickle pizza, Dr.Pepper and Italian hoagies to name a few she enjoyed cooking and baking with her family ! Abby loved the water which led this little fish to be on the Ridley Township Swim Club Swim Team “The Gators” which she loved and enjoyed. Abby was a Ridley Raider Cheerleader and had just been chosen last Thursday to be in TSC cheerleading squad ! Abby spent a lot of time being a part of any event or team she could be involved with all while being honor student at the Middle School. She participated in the student government at school as well. Being such a girly girl, she was always changing her outfits or hair or make up, she was always “counseling” or “consulting” others with her make up tips and sometimes would choose friends or family members just to be her subjects so she could practice on them. Even though her life on this earth was cut short, her impact on everyone she met or even didn’t meet close or afar, and the legacy she leaves behind is in all of our hearts, minds and souls until we meet her again. God Bless our Families Fallen Angel, Abby. May your wings take you home and reunite you with all of the members of our family who have predeceased you. Especially but not limited to her maternal great grandparents, Albert J and Elizabeth Rossi, Robert J and Eve W Kralle, grandfather Ronald Kralle Sr., paternal great grandparents Frank and Joan Ryan and Mr Francis Gillon.
Abigail is survived by her heartbroken family including her parents, Loriann Kralle and Daniel R Gillon, paternal great grandmother June Gillon, maternal grand mother Susan Kralle, paternal grandparents Michael Gillon (Susan) and Mary Ryan (Peter Moffa). Abigail is also survived by her loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, friends and extended family.
We Can Not Express Our Emotions and say Thank You enough to all of the friends, families, strangers, acquaintances, communities and businesses who have reached out and shown their support during our most important time of need. Thank you all of your kindness and generosity and most of all to the first responders who were at Abigail’s side during her final time with us on this earth, and those who have reached out since her accident. We appreciate the response from local authorities and politicians in their support for Abigail. The words aren’t possible. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and just know that Abigail would be proud of all of you and absolutely adore that you have all taken even one moment in time to remember her.

If you should look up and see that bright blue sky on a sunny day, or maybe just admire the blue of the ocean or bay, take a moment make a wish and always know Abigail’s with you more ways than you know.
