Obituary of Walter L. Crew, Jr.

Walter L. Crew, Jr. age 83, of Middletown Twp., Media, PA, formerly of Beaver Valley, Chadds Ford, PA, died on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was a graduate of Media High School. Walt was a machinist for Sun Oil Company until retiring. He also was employed throughout the years at DiSabatino Company and Dupont.

He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Walt was a devoted longtime member of the Gateway Community Church.

Walter was a 50 year member of the Masonic Community Lodge No. 744 F&AM, and Shriners Member of Nur Temple.

Walt was an enthusiast of antique cars, especially his ’35 olds.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was always working on something. 

Walt’s life was of love and devotion to his family.  He will be dearly missed.

Loving Wife of 40 years: Paula (Oshman) Crew

Daughters: Kimberly Crew (Mark Graham) and Robin (Kenny) Infante

Sisters: Mary Conley

Brother: John Casella

Grandson: E.J. Garvine (Jenna Gerber)

Visitation: Friday, May 30^th after 10:00AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service: Friday, May 30^th at 11:30AM at the funeral home.

Masonic Service: Masonic Community Lodge No. 744 at 11:30AM
