My neighbor and choir buddy who laughingly turned her head so I could talk into her good ear. I'm now living in Tucson but I'll sing my favorite hymn in her memory, "Precious Lord". May her happiness be filled with the glory of God and reuniting with Jim.

Mrs.Durkin is forever remembered by me as she was young and vibrant in the 1960’s. Wonderful neighbor and Mother. Driving us kids to the pool and elsewhere in her 1965 Mercury. My favorite remembrance is at the occasional neighborhood party her singing and acting out the song, “the Yankees kept a coming down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico. Also in a you can’t laugh contest the winner every time. Condolences to the Durkin family especially Nancy, Jimmy and Kathy with whom I had the pleasure of growing up with on Cooper Circle.
