Mike was one of a kind who was a consummate storyteller. And he He lived a stored life and live a good story. I met him at the Philadelphia Nacal Shiotaed where we worked closely together and became fast friends. Generations separated us but our passion for people, food and our Italian heritage connected us.
He was a whirlwind of energy and the brakes if the chapters if his career, family and life rolled musically off of his tongue like timeless tunes from a classic jukebox. In my book, he was a legend (he would laugh at that statement). The light of Mike’s legacy will shine through those who adored him forever. ,My sincere condolences to his family. — Randy Giancaterino
I will miss Mike and so enjoyed his company when I visited my dad, his friend, Russ Decker. At various visits and events over the years I enjoyed hearing about Mike's very interesting life and family. His bond of friendship with my dad was strong and an encouragement to both. Our deepest sympathy to the family he loved so well. A good man gone "too soon" (always too soon). Fondly, Carol Decker Kaminski & Bob Kaminski
I worked with Mike for a number of years when I was Vice Principal of Chester High School. He attended many of my parties and picnics after we both left CHS, right up to Covid. We shared several common friends and got together often. Mike had a lively wit and was very knowledgeable about many topics. I will certainly miss his humor and tv and football stories.
Hard to believe my old friend is gone . We both belonged to the Swarthmore Methodist at one time . Later on we would travel together to Masonic Lodge meetings . He was a great communicator & I always enjoyed his stories . He can now join Connie . He will be missed . Dick Ems
Mike and I had many many interesting conversations at dinner. He used to love to say, "And that doesn't make him a bad person!" We'll miss you Mike and the laughter you brought to us and I'm sure to many other people.
Although we didn't know Mike very long here at Lima Estates, we will remember him as being a friendly guy with great stories. In the short time he was at Lima, many interesting stories were told. He was a very friendly guy and will be missed by all who knew him.

It is so difficult to say goodbye to your Dad, Gpa, Great-Gpa, and my dear friend who I will always remember for his many special qualities: kindhearted, intelligent, generous, great sense of humor, always willing to share an interesting story —Mike was a true gentleman to whom family meant everything and I am honored to be counted among his friends.
