Obituary of Jean Lorna Holland
Jean Lorna (Taylor) Holland, age, 66 of Brookhaven, PA, formerly spending her childhood years in Yeadon, PA, and then most of her adult life in Aston, PA, died August 2, 2022, unexpectedly at home. Jean was born in Philadelphia, PA, and received an Associate’s Degree in Art from Hussain School of Art. Jean spent the early part of her career in banking and more recently was employed by Genesis Healthcare as a Private Collections Specialist. Jean was always recognized by others for her distinctive laugh and never shied away from even laughing at herself. She most enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved to share stories of boating on the Delaware with her parents and siblings as a child. One of her passions throughout her life was sketching and painting. She also enjoyed science fiction movies, traveling and making jewelry. Jean was an avid pet lover of dogs and cats and even warmed up to the lizards and piranhas her sons brought home. In her more recent years, her biggest joy and dedication was spending time with her grandchildren and making messes in the kitchen with them.
