Obituary of John C. Steward

John C. Steward, Sr., “Jack”, age 86, a lifelong resident of Lenni, PA, died on Monday, May 2, 2022.

Born in Chester, PA, he was a graduate of Media High School.  Jack had been employed by Middletown Twp. in Maintenance, and later the Middletown Twp. Sewer Authority, until his retirement.  Jack was an avid Philadelphia Sports Fan, especially the Phillies. 

Husband of the late Joan E. (Suter) Steward.

Daughters: Debbie (Frank) Cardinale and Denise (Steven) Houpt

Son: John “Jack” (Maryann Sbandi) Steward, Jr.

Grandchildren: Andrea Steward, Christopher Houpt, Jessica Steward, Amybeth Mackay, Brad Steward, Jacob Steward

Also survived by 3 Great-Grandchildren

Visitation: Thursday, May 5^th from 6:00-8:00PM and Friday, May 6^th after 10:00AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service: Friday, May 6^th at 11:00AM at the funeral home.

Interment: Private.
