Obituary of Eleanor Schureman

Eleanor Elizabeth Schureman, known to her family as Honey, died January 24, 2022 from complications related to Alzheimer’s. Born in Southwest Philadelphia on July 31, 1936, Eleanor started her family in 1962 in Chester, PA, before moving to Claymont, DE, in 1971 and settling in  Wilmington in 2019. She is survived by her beloved husband George, two children Susan (Michael), George (Edith); four grandchildren Sean (Brittney), Melissa (Michael), Ryan, Rebecca; two great-grandchildren Melania, Leo; and beloved sister Gail (Paul).

Funeral Service: Monday, January 31, 2022 at 12Noon at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds.,  Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063, where friends may call after 11:00AM.

Interment: Chester Rural Cemetery
