Obituary of Melissa F. Brutsche

Melissa F. Brutsche, “Liss", age 66, of Brookhaven, PA, died Saturday, August 21, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was a graduate of Upper Darby High School, Class of 1973.

Liss was a devoted homemaker and mother. She was a talented and passionate seamstress, running her business from her home. 

She was a member of the Advent Lutheran Church, West Chester, PA.

Liss enjoyed traveling across the country, but especially loved the times they spent at Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas. Another one of Liss's favorite places to visit was Disney World.

Liss cherished spending time with her family and friends. A kind and generous person, Liss was an inspiration to others with her courage and giving nature.  She will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Daughter of the late Herbert and Eleanor Freeburger; sister of the late Sharon Witman

Loving Husband of 37 years: Rob Brutsche

Sons: Chris (Lauren) Brutsche and Danny (Kim) McDevitt

Grandchildren: Colton, Luke and Faith

Sisters: Bonnie O’Brien and Donna (Mike) Huth

Visitation: Friday, August 27^th from 10:00-10:45AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service: Friday, August 27^th at 11:00AM at the funeral home.

Interment: Private.
