Obituary of Charles M. McBride

Charles M. McBride, “Charlie” age 85, of Upland, PA, formerly of Shamokin, PA, died Sunday, August 15, 2021.  Charlie was a graduate of Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor's Degree and West Chester University with a Master's Degree.  Charlie was a teacher with Penn Delco School District for many years, until he retired.

He was a parishioner of the Church of Our Lady of Charity, where he was active with the Charitians. He was also a member of the Old Guard.

Son of the late Charles E. and Ellen M. McBride; husband of the late Dare Patricia Beecher McBride; brother of the late Thomas McBride and Eleanor Terefenko

Survivors:

Daughter: Patricia McBride (Robert) Kacperski

Granddaughter: Georganna Dare Kacperski

Nephew Mark (Donna) Terefenko and George (Colleen) Terefenko

Niece: Ellen (David) Turnick

Visitation: Wednesday, August 25^th from 10:00-10:45AM at The Church of Our Lady of Charity, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, PA 19015.

Funeral Mass: Wednesday, August 25th at 11:00AM at the Church of Our Lady of Charity, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, PA 19015.

Interment: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
