Joan, you have always known how to put your best foot forward. Enzo's funeral was elegant & tastefully done. A true tribute to a kind man. He was blessed to have you in his life for 30 years. You were always an amazing adoring loving wife & an outstanding medical advocate. He was truly blessed to have you as a soulmate.
I was truly shocked when you stood up & spoke at the service. At times you spoke directly to him. It was beautiful. You are a first class lady, all the way. Hold your head high.
Joan and Josephine, I will always remember Enzo as laughing, smiling and joking. (And the man who convinced me that it was ok to have a taste of wine before I went to work.) His big, loving heart will be missed. My prayers are with you. Sandi Nuner
Joan, I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved husband Enzo. I never met him but have heard such wonderful things about him. The memorial video was amazing, so beautiful! May God bless you during this time. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I only knew Enzo for a relatively short period of time and then only intermittently when he visited me in the office. However, in that brief time I certainly enjoyed talking and getting to know him. He was a funny and friendly man. He clearly loved his wife. He always had a smile on his face and never complained. I will miss our visits.
Josephine, my most sincere condolences to you on the loss of your dear father. He was a special friend to my dad, and I am sure they are having with some wine in heaven. I will always remember his wide beautiful smile always so happy to talk about his girl! A big hug to you my friend, you are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this.
Heartfelt condolences to Joan on the loss of her soul-mate Enzo. Prayers on behalf of the 115+ reactions and comments from friends, known and unknown, here in the UK from the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham. May the soul of Enzo rest in the Heavenly Jerusalem, where there is no more pain or suffering, but life eternal. Praying for comfort and strength to you Joan for all you did over these 30 years of life with Enzo. May God give you grace to go forward along with the memories.
I had the privilege of experiencing Enzo's wonderful energy and humor from visiting Joan and her daughters while I was in high school. The home they shared together always felt warm, loving and fun! Sending love to Joan and the rest of the Carnaroli family. ❤

So hard to say goodbye. Many memories will help lighten the heart. I only had the privilege of knowing Enzo for about five years but even if you knew Enzo for five minutes you would never be able to forget him. He had a warm smile a big heart and a twinkle in his eye .
Say hello to all my loved ones in heaven. Love Pat

Joan, I am so sorry for your loss. Enzo was one of the most kind and generous men I have ever known. He was the greatest father-in-law and always treated me as family. I have only good memories of him and of the time I spent with you both at parties, family functions, and just being together. You made him happy and complete. My hear is with you.
I don't think I have ever met a tougher human being. Enzo fought many battles and came out a winner each time. He was kind, loving, and compassionate. I would love to just hear him talk when we were neighbors in OCNJ. Thank you Joan for allowing me to visit one last time. Your love for each other is what romance novels are based on.
Joan, I can remember the first time I met Enzo almost 30 years ago I was like 8ish I knew that he made you so happy. And seeing you and the girls all so happy was very important to me. Having had the opportunity to spend so much time with you both these past few weeks made me realize just how happy and in love you both still were even all these years later. To hear him call mama and you go to him and all he wanted was to give you kisses was just the sweetest thing. You were always there when he needed you most. I know his kitties are going to miss him but they have you and you won’t let them forget about him. Love and prayers, Deirdre
condolences to the family. He was a great guy.Joan, the love between you two was quite obvious.May he rest in peace.
Enzo will truly be missed by all his friends at Ocean City NJ. He loved to just drop in and visit Lavern & Joel
Enzo was one of the sweetest, kindest, and most handsome gentlemen I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I am a Cher impersonator. He was tickled pink and adorable as my "Sonny"; but he truly shone as my "Fernando". I offered to bring a costume for him; but he insisted on wearing his own dashing jacket, hat and ascot, which he put together with the help of his beautiful wife, Joan. Enzo sweetly and lovingly referred to me as "his Cher". Enzo will always be my handsome, brave, strong "Fernando".
Joan, words cannot express how I feel over the loss of my dear friend Enzo. When you brought Enzo with you to DB and asked me to take care of him I knew a great friendship was made. Enzo was the kindest most loving person. It was evident by his actions the love he felt for you. Thank you for trusting and allowing me to take care of him. I will always remember his smile. The way you took care of Enzo and the love you have for him is evident. The love story the two of you wrote over the last 30 years is an example of true happiness. May God continue to bless and strengthen you.
Josephine, I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. I will always remember your dad (and mom) to be so positive, happy, and welcoming. I read Lorrie's comments and it reminded me of the time when your dad and mom took the three of us to Disney World for the first time! I will always remember that your dad, at our nonstop pleading and begging, took us over to the hotel where Michael Jackson stayed in Florida! He tipped the cleaning staff and they let us in the room! He was the best! I continue to pray for you and your dad, and please know my thoughts and heart are with you. These last few years have had tremendous losses for us all. May God bless your father and may you keep him close to your heart.

I hadn't seen "Uncle" Enzo in years but I always remembered him as a wonderful loving father to Josephine and as a second father to me. I mostly remember him and "Aunt" Lina while Josephine and I grew up on Livezey Lane. Josephine and I would play every day - taking turns at each other's houses. Whenever I went to Jo's house both her parents were so welcoming and caring. His broken English was very endearing and he always had a smile on his face, joking, teasing Aunt Lina and just working hard on the house or in the backyard. Sometimes his family and friends would come over and hang out in the rec room - a lot of laughter and love. Too many great memories. One of the best was when Uncle Enzo and Aunt Lina took Josephine, my sister, and me to DisneyWorld in 1985. I still remember walking behind Uncle Enzo and Aunt Lina in DW - he jokingly kicked up his leg to smack her on her behind. She looked at him quickly stunned but then did the same thing to him. It was too cute to watch. They were always like that. He was a wonderful person and he will be greatly missed!
Josephine my heart breaks for you. I know first hand what a beautiful relationship you had with each other. When you became family he also became our family and a wonderful addition it was. Enzo radiated such joy every time we saw him. I loved to see him dance and sing. He was so proud of you. You were his light. A true daddy’s little girl. Hold onto all the great memories. Your dad will be missed by so many❤️
Dear Joan, my grandmother was Eugenia Carnaroli, aunt of Enzo and my mother Maria Grazia Busca was his cousin. We have heard about Enzo throughout our lives, but never had the chance to meet with him in person. My mom was used to call Enzo on a regular basis from Italy. We have been following news on his health thanks to your updates. Enzo has been blessed by having you next to him. We send our deepest condolences to you for your loss. May God bless you all. Rest in peace. Arturo Busca & Family.
Sincere Condolences to Joan. I did not have the chance to meet Enzo in person but I talked with him and saw him on Video. He looked like my grandmother Eugenia Carnaroli that for me was like a second mother. RIP Enzo
