Obituary of Karen A. Troppman
Karen Anita (Budnick) Troppman, age 63, a 33 year resident of Chester, PA, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 16, 2021. Karen was born January 14, 1958 in Williamsport, PA, to the late Walter and Juanita (Kelley) Budnick. Karen was devoted to her husband and children. She loved creating special memories with her family and close friends. For 35 years, Karen took great pride in her skills as a nursing educator at Delaware County Community College.
Later in life, she got her master’s in nursing education at Messiah College. What gave Karen the greatest joy was using her beautiful singing voice to praise the Lord. She especially loved participating in the yearly Christmas cantatas. Everyone loved her animated personality and how she used that to witness to others. She had a special way of making someone feel welcomed and accepted. She was very active in teaching Sunday school and for over fifteen years she and her husband hosted Sunday night bible study from their home. Karen holds a special place in her family and friends’ hearts.
