Obituary of John Muscolini

 

John Muscolini, “Jack”, “Muzzy”, age 78, of Newtown Square, PA, died Thursday, February 25, 2021 at home.  Jack was born and raised in Chester and was a graduate of St. James High School, Class of 1960.

 

Muzzy was a Chief Operator with Sun Oil for 32 years, until retiring in 1997.

Jack was a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving his country from 1960-1964 and was a devoted member of the American Legion Post #926, Aston, PA. Jack  was a talented softball athlete and was inducted into DELCO Athletes Hall of Fame in 2010. He also was an avid golfer.

 

Son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Marinari) Muscolino; husband of the late Marie Muscolini and step-son of the late Claude Hathaway

 

Survivors:

Siblings: Rita (Carmen) Marinelli, Joe (Renee) Muscolino and Betty (Gerald) Green

Daughter: Donna Muscolini

Son: William Muscolini and John (Alisa) Muscolini, Jr.

Grandchildren: Amanda, Julia, Joan and John III

Great-Granddaughter: Lillian

Also survived by nieces and nephews

 

Visitation:  Tuesday, March 2nd from 10:00-10:45AM at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

 

Funeral Service:  Tuesday, March 2nd at 11:00AM at the funeral home.

 

Interment with Military Honors:  SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to:  American Legion Post #926, 3220 Concord Rd., Aston, PA 19014.
