Obituary of Jesse Tyson

Jesse E. Tyson, age 91, of Wallingford, PA, formerly of Folsom, PA, died Friday, September 29, 2017 at home. Jesse attended Penn State University. He was a US Navy Veteran, who served on the USS New York during WWII. Jesse was employed with Commerce Construction for 63 years, retiring in 2009 as Vice President.

Jesse was a member of Christ Church in Ridley Park, PA. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 578 F.&A.M. Prospect Park, PA.  He served 3 terms as President with the Square Club. He was also a member of the Rotary Club, Springfield, PA.  Jesse enjoyed a full life and cherished spending time with his family.

Wife of 67 Years: Bette (Frysinger) Tyson

Daughters: Sandra (James) Methven and Connie (Robert) Schorza

Grandchildren: Christopher (Julie) Methven, Carrie (Dan) Methven-Kateusz, Haley (Chad) Schorza Cummings

Great-Grandchildren: Kelsey, Connor and Aubrey

Visitation: Monday, October 2nd from 5:00-7:00PM and Tuesday, October 3rd after 10:00AM at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, October 3rd at 11:00AM at the funeral home.

Interment: Private.
